Restrictions on the import of products from Turkey will not be lifted by the Rosselkhoznadzor

At the beginning of March was published regulation of the government of the Russian Federation, which removes the ban on export from Turkey of onions and shallots, cauliflowers, broccoli, salt, chewing gum, and carnations. Banned are the supply of frozen Turkey meat and offal of chickens and turkeys, fresh and chilled tomatoes, cucumbers and gherkins, fresh grapes, apples, pears, strawberries and strawberries.
the Press-Secretary of Rosselkhoznadzor Julia Melano stated that the Agency has no plans to lift the current restrictions on import products of Turkey.
the Ministry of agriculture noted that "the question of full or partial lifting of restrictions on supplies of Turkish fruits and vegetables to the Russian market should be discussed in conjunction with the removal of the Turkish side opposing restrictions on Russian products."
According to the National Association of exporters of agricultural products, the Turkish authorities since March 15, 2017 stopped issuing licenses for the import of Russian wheat, corn, sunflower meal and vegetable oil. This means the actual establishment of the embargo on agricultural products from the Russian Federation.
