FCS has stepped up the fight against corruption. Management on counteraction of corruption of the FCS of Russia has summed up the results of work in I quarter of 2017.
Compared to the first quarter of 2016, more than 2-fold increase in the number of criminal cases on crimes of a corruption orientation. So, in I quarter of 2016 64 filed such cases in 2017 – 149. Of them against 26 officials of the customs authorities initiated 44 criminal cases against 22 givers – 105 criminal cases (for comparison: in I quarter of 2016 against 13 givers was 10 criminal cases were opened and 54 criminal cases against 36 officials).
